Day 1 January 5, 2013

Today is day one!  I weighed in at the weight loss challenge this morning, a whopping 215.8 pounds! OUCH!  But at least it gives me lots of room for improvement!  I've never felt so ready to make lifestyle changes as I am right now.  I am tired of being fat and just tired all the time!  My target weight is 122lbs.  I hope to make that goal within a year!  I have broken down my goal into 10 smaller goals:

Overall, today was a good day.  I kept my mind off food by cleaning my house and this afternoon and evening spent some quality time with my husband.  Since it was just the 2 of us for dinner tonight, we decided to be a little decadent and have steak and crab for dinner, so my total for today is slightly higher than  a typical day today.
